Sometimes I look at my hands and think perhaps I should have taken the girlie route.
Once upon a time my hands were pretty enough to be offered the opportunity to be a hand model. I was more interested in taking cars apart, building stone walls and doing electrical wiring. I declined the offer.
Still sometimes I compare my hands to other womens' softer less wrinkled, unscarred hands and wonder if I did the right thing. Then I watched this slideshow that my daughter sent me. I wouldn't change a thing.
